Recreation Racers Program Information
The Recreation Racers is a fun and exciting way to introduce swimmers ages 6-14 to competitive swimming. Practices will focus on skills and build on endurance. Our coaches’ hands-on approach will help swimmers build confidence both in and out of the water.
Swim Groups:
6-8 yrs. Swimmers in this age group will participate in three events at each dual meet. Events will include; Co-ed 100 yard Freestyle Relay or 100 yard Medley Relay, 25 yards of Freestyle, Butterfly, Breaststroke, or Backstroke.
9-10 yrs. Swimmers in this age group will participate in three events at each dual meet. Events will include; Co-ed 200 yard Freestyle Relay or 200 yard Medley Relay, 50 yards of Freestyle, Butterfly, Breaststroke, or Backstroke.
11-12 yrs. and 13-14 yrs. Swimmers in this age group will participate in three events at each dual meet. Events will include; Co-ed 200 yard Freestyle Relay or 200 yard Medley Relay, 50 yards of Freestyle, Butterfly, Breaststroke, or Backstroke, or 100 yards of Freestyle.

Recreation Racers practice at Recreation Pool - 501 E Miner St, Arlington Heights, IL 60005
Practice Times:
Recreation Racers practice Monday-Friday from 8:00-9:00am at Recreation Pool
