Inclement Weather Policy

Due to the nature of Interpark Swim Teams practicing at outdoor pools, there are chances of inclement weather. The safety of the facility is under the discretion of the Pool Manager on duty. If inclement weather develops during a practice, the pool will be cleared and swimmers will be directed to the facility's designated shelter area until the inclement weather clears or the practice concludes. Practices will not be cancelled due to inclement weather. Coaches are directed to seek shelter with swimmers then proceed to organize team bonding activities on land. If you would like to pick-up your swimmer from practice early due to inclement weather, ensure their coach is informed before the swimmer leaves the practice. Swimmers will not be permitted to leave practice early due to inclement weather unless they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
